You may choose to interact with Newsbound or the Site in ways that require Newsbound to gather personally identifying information. The amount and type of information that Newsbound gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, if you sign up and subscribe to our email list, we ask that you provide your email address.
In each case, Newsbound collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with Newsbound or the Site. Newsbound does not disclose personally identifying information other than as described below. Newsbound may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to its Site, through services such as Chartbeat, Google Analytics and MixPanel.
Newsbound does not sell email lists or other information to third parties.
Newsbound discloses potentially personally identifying and personally identifiable information only to those of its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on Newsbound’s behalf or to provide services available at via the Site or Newsbound’s services offered to clients, and (ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others. Accordingly, we employ reasonable measures designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. However, no data transmission over the Internet or other network can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect information transmitted on or through the Site, we cannot and do not guarantee the security of any information you transmit on or through the Site and you do so at your own risk.
From time to time, we may establish a business relationship with other businesses that we believe to be trustworthy and who have confirmed that their privacy practices are consistent with ours ("Service Providers").
