Last Updated: February 1, 2015

This Privacy Policy is designed to inform Users of the Newsbound and Stacker websites (the “Site”) about how Newsbound ("Newsbound" or "we") gathers and uses personal information submitted to us in connection with use of the Site. Newsbound will take all reasonable steps to protect User privacy consistent with the guidelines set forth in this policy and with applicable U.S. laws. In this policy, "User" or "you" means any person using the Site.

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. You may not use any part of the Site unless you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. Your use of the Site will constitute your acceptance of this Privacy Policy.

Please review Newsbound’s Terms of Service in conjunction with this Privacy Policy.

1. Overview.

At Newsbound, we take the privacy of our Users very seriously. Please read this Privacy Policy to learn more about how we treat personally identifiable information. We provide this Privacy Policy because you have a right to know what information we collect, how it is protected and used and the circumstances under which it may be disclosed. If you have comments, suggestions, questions or concerns about our Privacy Policy, please contact us via email at talk@newsbound.com.

  • a. Online Privacy Standards. Newsbound follows the principles supported by the Federal Trade Commission's Fair Information Practices Principles, currently available at http://www.ftc.gov/reports/privacy3/fairinfo.htm.
  • b. What This Policy Covers. This policy covers Newsbound’s treatment of personally identifiable information that we obtain when you use the Site.
  • c. What This Policy Does Not Cover. This policy does not cover the privacy practices of third parties that we do not own or control, such as any partners or third party platforms we use, like Facebook, Twitter and Google+. In addition, we may provide links to other services and on occasion to other sites that may interest you. All of these sites operate independently of Newsbound, and they have their own privacy or security practices. For your best online experience, Newsbound encourages you to review their policies before submitting any personal information to them.

2. Privacy and Children Under 13.

Protecting the privacy of young children is especially important. For that reason, Newsbound does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 13 or knowingly allow such persons to register as users in compliance with various federal and state regulations, including the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

It is important for you to understand this law; we encourage you to read more about COPPA at http://www.business.ftc.gov/privacy-and-security/childrens-privacy.

If you are under 13, please do not send any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number or email address. No one under age 13 is allowed to provide any personal information to or on Newsbound. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. If you believe that we might have any information from or about a child under 13, please contact us at talk@newsbound.com.

3. Gathering of Personally Identifying Information.
